| Brief description of the movie: Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as "V." Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V urges his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression. As Evey uncovers the truth about V's mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself--and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plot to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption. piece credited to yahoo.com movies
I personally cannot wait to see this movie on IMAX.
What strike’s me as odd is all the vast reviews this movie is receiving.
On one hand hard core Republicans say the movie paints G.W. Bush in a bad light. *Those hippie Hollywood types trying to destroy America by glorifying terrorism.
With the other hand Democrats praising freedom fighters, aka terrorists, for having strong beliefs so much that death would not turn them away.
Then in the middle, or the neck, we have libertarians having a joygasm, finally a movie that supports risings up against the United States Federal Government because they have misused the constitution for personal gain and or power.
Then there are people like me and you who just want to go and be entertained by a movie. No strings attached, just sit down for a couple of hours and forget about every thing that is going on outside of the theater.

| I do.
I mean the idea of overthrowing the government sounded appealing... then all of a sudden you've got a guy in a mask swinging around from building to building on a rope. *click*

| It has that 1984 feel to it.....almost as if it should be called 2014 or something. Maybe because Hurt's in the movie. |
