| Where are you from, where have you been, where are you going? Have you lived in the same town since birth? Moved around? Traveled?
I was born in Johnson City and lived in Jonesborough for the first part of my life, after which I moved to Roanoke, VA. I'm a student at UTK, so as of now I live in Knoxville.
I've traveled through parts of East Asia and am likely making a return trip to Japan next spring to continue my Japanese language study.
What about you all?

| | smh | Was born in Dallas TX, moved here to Portland with my parents when I was a chit'lun, have lived all over various parts of the city and Vancouver WA (what a crap-hole town... You can effectively pay no taxes if you live there though).
Been to about half the states or so, Japan and Canada. Finishing my 2nd college degree sometime this next school year hopefully, then who knows where I'll end up. Probably here, Texas, NorCal or Virginia. |

What about you all? | A thread that allows me to talk about myself AND get to know my fellow VN posters a little better. Good thread!
Born and raised in a dot of a town in West Texas left that scene in 2009 to work for an international volunteer organization (after I danced with the idea of joining the Air Force) to aid conservation related projects all over the Southwest. Since that time I have joined the National Park Service (Grand Canyon), the Forest Service (Lake Tahoe, S. AZ, S. UT, N. CA), the BLM, worked with various conservation corps and wilderness organizations. Basically I build and maintain trails, do foresty work (like thinning projects), large-scale invasive species removal, and sometimes even put up boundary fence-line for the Parks. Other times they give us a government rig, tell us to go to location A on X Forest Service road and we get to explore places that literally only a handful local hunters and pack stock go. As for as where I have lived in....*takes a deep breath*
Started with a good stint in Northern Arizona, then a few months in Utah, few months in Northern California, few months in Nevada, then back to Arizona for a minute, then from there a few months in Austin, TX, and most recently was living back in Northern California again. Now as of Sunday I will be leaving for Colorado to spend a few months working on the Dolores River. Where I go after that I'm not sure. Maybe the Pacific Crest again? Who knows..... Montana has got some charm....maybe stay in Colorado....Wherever life takes me, I'll keep you guys up to date.
