| Tennessee orange paint
I need some help. My son wants one wall of his room painted Tennessee orange. *pats self on back for raising him right...........so far* The thing is finding the correct rgb code to match pms 151. One converter gives the hex number f77f00 with the rgb code 247/127/00. Another converter gives the hex number ff7900 with the rgb code 255/121/00. The colors vary slightly from one another. My thinking is if I am going to have it mixed, it may as well be right.
Anyone have any experience with these rgb codes? If so, how close is it to Tennessee orange? Anyone have any different rgb codes that you think is the right one?
I also know Home Depot sells/sold a Tennessee orange paint. Anyone know if they still sell it? If so, is it the right shade?

| My kids have a playroom wall Tennessee orange. Go to paint dept at lowes and ask for University of Tennessee orange. They will mix it for you. It is the exact color.
Be careful with all walls orange, it is VERY ORANGE. Wife only approved one wall orange.

| Yea, only one wall will be orange. He wants it all orange but we are drawing the line at one for now. Will try lowes and home depot to see what they got. Thanks for the replies.

| Or you could take your favorite UT hat or shirt and have them match the color.

| Also, I found that white walls with orange trim look better than all orange walls. Most of the stuff you want to hang is orange and you will lose it in the orange wall, but it will contrast nicely with white. | |

| WalMarts in Knoxville have the exact Tennessee orange for less than you'll find anywhere else. It looks perfect.
