I know this because they have to give annual revenue reports to us to let us know how to insure properly. Unless the courts cite with them they will not be getting the money needed and it will not re-open. They are going to lose in court too. Zurich nor AON doesn't lose many of these kinds of battles. Simons Malls instead has decided to begin focusing on other properties in the area.

Six Flags was supposed to come here to Manchester a couple of years ago where Bonnaroo is located now. They offered the guy 7.5 mill for his land and Bonnaroo countered with 10.

You said it wasn't going to re-open, and that they wouldn't rebuild, which they are. So, you're still wrong.

I based my opinion on the fact that the money was not there and there was in workings of another developement there. They still wont get there money.

■Approximate revenue of 2011 festival: $28 to $29 Million*

* Figures regarding attendance and revenue told to me by a Bonnaroo attendee who, apparently, helped consult with logistical concerns. These facts have not been independently confirmed.
Quote:
We believe the festival is able to raise debt instead of selling equity for cash because financially it is thriving. For example, in 2009 it generated about $12 Million in profit on $30 Million in revenue, according to Businessweek. We expect it likely grew revenue since then. In addition, according to a study from Middle Tennessee State University’s Business and Economic Research Center the festival pumps about $14 Million in revenue into the county each year.
Quote:
Bonnaroo organizers Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment didn't report 2009 festival figures to Billboard Boxscore this year, but Billboard estimates 80,000 people attended, and between $17-$18 million in gross revenue, making it the top-grossing festival in North America as it has been since its inception.
