Most people that are placed in boxes are either high level sales reps or high level execs or someone you are trying to close a deal with. All 3 still revolve around shaking hands and getting drunk. |

They need their funding first and foremost.....and then it's still a long shot before this thing ever breaks ground. |

Now if regional sales office wants a box, they go through a broker for specific event or date...instead of having it for the entire season |

Only 1 is promising, but we hear the same thing every few months that they almost have it all squared away. The others have been buried. |

On a side note, I believe this will happen in some form by some developement team.
There is too much money moving into the Williamson county area and Spring Hill is located between too many larger cities that have no real amusement parks. The fact that Opryland turned a profit every year will also entice backers.
It may not happen with this team but I suspect Opryland will be coming back. They renewed the rights to the name last year and are already kicking around ideas. OpryMills is not coming back. |
