God bless her family.

I have a hard time letting these type of stories into my view. Perhaps I am only desensitized to it ; afterall these stories, they exist all around, we hear about them 24/7 in the media. It is easy, in my case, to simply look away. I mean, why take it upon yourself to sympathize, why let it bogg you down, why worry? Why?

Much easier to take knowing that the girl died of natural causes rather than by the will of another human, I suppose. But I still don't understand why people are run-down by stories they are likely in no way connected to.

When you have a young child it's hard to not think "what if" something like that happened to them.

Seems like the initial Dr may be partly to blame & he was just in a rush to get them out. A small child like that getting bit by a deadly poisonous spider should at least get overnight observation.

Sounds like someone was a little too nonchalant.

Exactly. My baby girl is almost 3. I know I would be inconsolable if this happened to her.
