I Feel Somewhat Confident This Year (98 similarties)

Not sure why but it kind of reminds me of 1998 when Peyton had left and Tee stepped in. Didn't really know what to expect that year but everyone stepped up and the rest was history.

Yea, bar fights, multiple torn ACLs,backing out of contracts with mediocre ACC teams because our schedule is too tough. Exactly like 98 for sure.

I get it now..
2010-1998=12

Rod Wilks number is 22

22+12=34
Lost 3 players to injury in the past two weeks.
34-3=31
Tee Martin's current age 31! OMG We are winning it all...

2008 had more similarities with us losing Ainge and Crompton stepping into the starting QB role...but we all know how that turned out.

Puff, puff, give, my brother...

Our OL, DL, and LBs don't hold a candle (on paper) to what we had in '98. Our young receivers are unproven and our returnees have been mediocre. Our defensive backfield lost a first round draft pick and is counting on JJ to fill some seriously large shoes. We have nothing but a question mark and a few lucky stars at QB. I think we are fine at RB.

I hope you are right, but unfortunately think you are WAY too optimistic. Hope I'm wrong.

The only way this team compares to '98 is they both wore orange & white uniforms.
