| Phonolux record shop in Nashville if you are into that kinda thing.
Ernest Tubb record shop, or Third Man Records.
All close together and all fun to check out if you dig that sorta thing.
And being 18 you cant , legally, enjoy the beer in the joints as of yet.
Have a good trip. |

| | Undercover | Haven't been in decades but the Elliston Place Soda Shop always had good food for cheap. It's also in a cool area near Vandy and Centennial Park/The Parthenon. Elliston Place Soda Shop - Nashville, TN, 37203 - Citysearch

| | Broken Hearted VFL | Cleveland is so close to Chatt that you must drive down!! There's not much to do in Cleveland but in Chatty we have:
Lake Winnepesaukah (lake winnie for short) its an amusement park that's pretty fun.
The Aquarium and Imax 3D theater
The Riverwalk and downtown Chattanooga
Nightfall is a Friday night concert series in downtown Chatt (pretty sure Cleveland has something similar to it too)
There are a couple of 18 and up clubs in Chattanooga (or there were when I was 18)
There's A LOT to do in Chattanooga and Nashville as well!!!
Enjoy your time in our great state! Posted via VolNation Mobile |

Most places will not take you down the rougher rapids UNLESS you're experienced. It's super fun! Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| VolGal is right Chat town is a pretty cool place. The Aquarium is nice and great hiking/mtn biking trails in the city. They used to have the biggest mall in Tennessee. Don't know if that's still true.
The only thing I would recommend not doing is Rock City. As a kid I always wanted to go because of the barns. After 15 years of waiting, I went and was severely disappointed. Still makes me sad. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| | Senior Member | Yeah. Keep your car doors locked and don't stray too far away from heavy pedestrian traffic areas if in downtown Nashville or Chattanooga.
