| I'm moving to Denver... I am moving to Denver in two months, and have never been before.
Any advice from people familiar with the area? |

| Don't come across the mountains. Utah is savage. |

| | Senior Member | Nice.
Always a plus to live near someplace warm. A place where beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.
I'm talking about a little place called Aspen. |

| I've heard many good things about Denver, but I've never been. If you like to ski and drink beer, you're set.
What's taking you to Denver if you don't mind me asking? |

| You will not be disappointed. I moved out here almost 5 years ago and absolutely love it! Of course I'm up north about 50 miles, but Denver is a really cool city.

| Just got back from spending 10 days in Denver. The south side is very nice... definitely check out the 16st area and Larimer. Not as crazy about the east (the plains) and north (a little more industrial), but obviously the mountains to the west are fabulous. Spent some time at Red Rock which is an amazing outdoor amphitheatre. If you enjoy an outdoor, healthy lifestyle then I think you'll like Denver. |

What's taking you to Denver if you don't mind me asking? | I am 2 for 3 on breaking a leg when skiing. I apparently lack a natural "fear" of going too fast. I love beer!
I am starting a PhD program there. |
