| It's quite the horrific sentence, given the witch hunt they call a trial over there. For everyone who is saying it's great, what if the man is innocent?

Besides, at the time of the Bill of Rights, firing squads and hangings were common place.

The punishment fits the crime? Says who?
I think child rapists are the scum of the earth and I don't mind cruel and unusual punishments for these dirt bags. However, I am looking at this from a constitutional stand point. Things like beheading and public crucifiction is exactly what the eighth amendment is there to protect against. |
