| Infrastructure and the economy I know Mitt Romney kept hitting on this during the campaign. What kind of impact would improving our infrastructure have on the economy?
I bring this up because I was watching Modern Marvels yesterday on the subject of Super Highways. They reported on China and said they would surpass us around 2016 or 2017 with a superior system.
This seems like a good area to create jobs and improve our country. I remember reports saying that most of the bridges in this country were outdated and couldn't pass inspection after the bridge in Minneapolis collapsed a few years back.
I was curious to hear thoughts on this. |

| There are some serious problems with infrastructure in this country. The problem is both political parties have done way too much for their special interests and neglected the lack of funding for projects such as these.

| Infrastructure improvements make sense if the atmosphere in Washington DC was one that encourages capitalism. Obama seems content to use infrastructure improvement as a jobs program, and nothing more.

| Infrastructure improvements are needed. That is an understatement, btw... I know this firsthand.

| Eh..sounds like Education, one of those subjects that people are always going to say more can be done and in some sense they are correct. As far as transportation, you can buy almost anything you want and have it delivered almost anywhere you want tomorrow. Things are not too bad. |

| Verizon and AT&T tell me that America has the best cell phone network in the world and I agree because a major corporation tells me so. Suckas: Congratulations Americans, We Pay The Most For Cellphone Service
Also, comcast is amazing because they give us ESPNU for free (after multiple years of lawsuits/*****ing) so we can watch SEC games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (second disclaimer, when they decide we can, barring blackout rules, barring when they can't blackout for PPV, or when they can't push for an afternoon PPV)
