I've been saying it since Teleprompter Jesus signed the "stimulus" bill into law.

Well, you can say it now, but no one will really listen. It'll be awhile, to be honest.

Not until Republicans demonstrate the fiscal responsibility they preach. Didn't happen this decade. Maybe next.

I could at least stomach all this government garbage right now if we had a GOP controlled congress. The more deadlocked things are, the better.

I'd like to think that if the GOP currently controlled at least one chamber, some of the current government garbage wouldn't even be getting talked about, much less voted on.

The Republicans are a sorry lot themselves, we need the blue dog dems to stage a comeback.

We never said the Republicans demonstrated fiscal responsibility.

Before the elections we said:
Obama is unqualified to be POTUS - check
Obama's economic policies would be a nightmare - check
Obama would soften our defenses - check
Obama's health care plan would be disaster waiting to happen - check
Obama is an idiot - check

Anything I'm missing?

Obamas predecessor was an idiot - check.
Obama doesn't look so bad in comparison, yet - check.

Obama has done the absolute impossible.

He's made Bush look like a tight fisted economic genius, and Carter look like a master of foreign policy.

I disagree with this. On the foreign policy front, he hasn't been bad. I think stepping back and thinking about the Iran elections was better than jumping in with both feet to shout a position, he made the right choice with authorizing lethal force in the pirate situation, and at the very least America is putting on a better face which I think will pay dividends with our allies that may have felt otherwise alienated. I'm sure you have beef with how he has gone about doing it...go ahead and spout "apology tour" nonsense. But he has made headway and hasn't screwed anything up. That is a big improvement over the last guy to sit in the oval office.

There are valid concerns with the other points you note.
