it seems to me extremely early for this to be a factor in that decision?

I would think so too, but yet it is one of the few things that makes sense as to why she would suddenly step down.

This would be a disastrous move to make if she wanted to run for president. I like the news anchor position or talk show host mentioned earlier.

Maybe Senator? Is Ted Stephens back in?

Even if I agreed with her politically, her voice kind of rakes on my nerves. A lot, actually.

This obviously isn't a move to allow her to start campaigning for president...too early for that. But, it's possible that she is eying something like senate/house. Maybe the cnn article is accurate in saying that the timing was right because of the conflict that was arising with her book deal tour, tv appearances, etc ... and that some citizens were getting worked up. Maybe she is cutting her losses....

...it really seems like a weird move. How does this help her?

Obama, Pelosi and Reid aren't exactly Patton, Eisenhower, and MacArthur.

They're more like Larry, Curly and Moe.

Doubting Obama's intelligence is the sure path to a Dem landslide in 2012. Losing by nine and one half million votes wasn't enough? But don't let that deter you from the Obama is dumb fantasy.

Don't be silly. He won off of GWBs lack of intelligence. It had nothing to with his own intelligence, experience or qualifications. Had it been that way, the idiot would never have won the dem primary. Being the anti-Bush was his only winning trait.

Yea that was it. Because we know the intelligence of our voters is off the charts.

I've been hearing he's smart enough to get a foreign exchange scholarship at Occidental College. Does that have any bearing on why we haven't seen his birth certificate?
