GE, NBC, and Obama - Conspiracy Theory of the Week
Okay boys and girls. I'm just throwing this one out for discussion. I have to admit that I got the idea from O'Reilly and that alone likely discredits it completely.
That being said, here goes:
GE owns NBC, a network that:
1. Has been friendly to Obama
2. Mocked the Tea Party movements (anti-big spending)
3. Is pushing "green" themes (and has been for the last year or so).
GE is performing poorly yet has considerable investments in and potential business from green energy projects - many of which will be helped by both the Stimulus Bill and Obama's massive spending agenda.
So, is GE using it's network and news coverage to push it's bottom line via advocating Obama's agenda?
We all know people would freak if this were Halliburton and R's were pushing big spending.

O'Reilly is spot on with this one. Jeffery Immelt has run GE into the ground, yet amazingly has managed to keep his job. His lackey's at NBC and MSNBC are engaged in overt efforts to promote the Obama agenda without providing substantive counter-arguments (Joe Scarboro and Pat Buchanan can't possibly balance out the rest of the talking heads).

this is not far fetched at all. hussein will give billions in grants to GE for their green crap. the problem is that all this alternative bs can't sustain on its own without either costing the customers a huge price, or the government will subsidize it. either way, GE will make a killing and the taxpayers will get screwed again.
I have boycotted all things GE except the Office. Dwight just cracks me up.
I am the same way, except for Chuck, and I think that is getting the ax next season I kind of wonder if that is not because a lot of folks are boycotting the network.
And, yes, I don't think it's too far of a stretch to think that this is a giant political game for GE. I wouldn't even consider that as tin foil hattish as some of the other "conspiracies" involving President Obama.
