Building a reason for more gun control.

How many people think the Oklahoma City federal building bombing was the work of right wing extremists??

No this is stemming from a radical left wing fascist government populated by a bunch of nutty fruitcakes.

If they do, their idiots. McVeigh was an atheist, thus eliminating him from the right wing because he has no affiliation with religion. Remember, according to most you have to believe in God to be considered a right winged extremist.

Terry Nichols made numerous visits and hundreds of phone calls to the Philippines to contact high level muslim terrorists and learned his bomb making skills from them.

There were at least two mid eastern men involved in the operation in Oklahoma City, probably Iraqi intelligence agents.

No less than a former CIA director testified before congress to the veracity of the above statements.

Obama's attorney general was very instrumental in the squashing of the FBI investigation into the matter and the justice department, in which he was second in command was criminally guilty of the suppression of evidence in the case.

Now that same man is heading up this witch hunt!!!!

You don't have to believe in God according to this latest DHS memo, you only have to believe in the US Constitution and it's amendments to be a right wing extremist!!!

Not sure I approve of the terms "radicals" or "extremists". Do not think that helps, instead it divides. I would suggest the administration refer to them as "really enthusiastic politically minded people".

I'm pretty sure the working definition of "extremist" in this context is "anyone that acts in opposition to our goals".

Funny thing is, the folks doing this report came out with concerns about both left and right fringe elements. And they were commissioned to investigate by Bush.

So far, the only organized effort towards domestic terrorism that I can really remember is Oklahoma City. There are probably some smaller scale left wing versions of the same thing. I do believe that there are people in our society who get so marginalized that they resort to violence to express themselves. If there is reliable evidence that such a group, left or right, is getting organized, and if it espouses or contemplates violence, I don't see identifying and monitoring them as a First Amendment issue.
