Hey Obama, you're 1.5 million in the hole

Not sure why it is your job to create jobs but you took it on with your whole "create or save 2.5 million jobs". Guess what? You're not doing so well.

Quote:
Private employers cut jobs by a record 742,000 in March versus a 706,000 revised cut in February that was originally reported at 697,000 jobs, said ADP, which has been carrying out the survey since 2001.

The big drop foreshadows a huge decline in the non-farm payroll reading in the government's employment report that will be released on Friday, some analysts said.

"It's a terrible number. It is almost a loss of three quarters of a million jobs which is possibly the highest we have seen so far over the length of this crisis," said Matt Esteve, foreign exchange trader with Tempus Consulting in Washington.

But you are a real wordsmith, that "save" can get you out of a lot of this.

It will continue. The stimulus package ha, if thats what you want to call it didn't get to the root of the problem. Taxing small and large businesses to death is one major thing he didn't address and there is no confidence in any of the moves barry's made so far. When you got large company's scared to invest money and expand, also small business being taxed so hard that they can't grow and expand, well you see where i'm going with that.

If this guy gets more than one term, it won't be the united stated anymore. More like the divided states, its going to collapse.

you do realize he has only been President for not even 3 months right? Although we live in a fast-food, 24 hours news cycle world, I think we need to wait a little bit longer before we cast judgment....

In your honest opinions, what results were you expecting to see in this short time period? Do you really think it was possible for things to be fixed by now? The way I see it, we are still trying to stop the bleeding. But then again, I'm just an Obama supporting idiot, while 'm sure you are more of an objective thinker with no biases one way or the other...

My 100% honest opinion is I am expecting no positive results from this administration in regards to the ecomomy. I am just pointing out to him and his followers that they are currently running in the red on the "create or SAVE 2.5 million jobs".

and your opinion may be right, but I don't think 3 months is an appropriate amount of time to cast your judgments either way.

Yeah, if you listened to his campaign speeches that's about all he said. Never said what the change would be, bad or good.

see, this type of statement is why once you become an "ivy-leaguer" most people don't like you....but I understand....like Larry King says "someone has to think FOR the masses"....he was referring to the Ivy League elite and our POTUS

I think he's been in office around 70 days. So we are suppose to be out of recession, financial crisis fixed, and the budget deficit balanced or he's incompetent.

No worries here. Pick the date you want, we can re-examine then.
