I moved away from the area I grew up in because i wanted to raise my family away from those influences. I just don't want it to follow me where I live now. Hell if we could get rid of them altogether would be a lot better, it will never happen though.

My primary work area in Columbus.........

Columbus is a hell hole......

From prior experience, you will be suprised at some of the places you can buy from. I have had friends in the past that did some crazy stuff and I would go with them to buy. Sometimes it was in the traditional bad part of town, but I remember some times going to houses in upstanding, middle-high class neighborhoods. You just can never tell anymore IMO

Very true. In the traditional bad parts of town though you don't even have to be looking for it, they will actually come to you. In better neighborhoods you actually have to know the right people to buy from, you have to actively seek it out there. If there is no longer any tough penalty for drugs what is going to stop better neighborhoods from being over run with aggressive drug dealers?

I went to a braves game back in July. After the game I hit up the Varsity as always. I had this homeless looking dude just come up to me and ask me if I wanted any pills, coke, etc. Sure enough, opened his trench coat and tahdah! I guess he picked me cause I do have a Sublime and Grateful Dead sticker on the back of my Jeep.

It can be done.....finally someone said they did not want organized crime powerful any more and RICO was created.

No one wants to because lawyers and politicians are major players in the drug market.

It wasn't really until the 19-20th century that drug laws were formed. Drugs were around all the way back in ancient Roman and Chinese cultures. Its unfair to compare drug use in their time to drug use in our time, but its still a good thought.

You could also shoot a drugged out idiot in the streets if he approached you the wrong way and it was legal (to an extent).

Very true, only today the drugs available seem to be even more potent.

Very true. Technology has gotten involved in the drug market. Although, the Chinese used to smoke straight opium back in the day. That stuff will knock you off your feet.
