| what stocks have you guys bought? i've looked at some large cap insurance companies. i found a few that have a solid portfolio and didn't lose much money when the real estate companies when down. |

| the market is ridiculously cheap. as long as you have a long term time horizon i would back up the truck.

C treated me particularly well today. |

| I bought CHK and also picked up some GM for $2/share. I like chk much better though with a P/E of 4. This stock was selling for over 70 within the last year. It currently trades for about 15. I just think this stock has been unwarrantly slammed. |

The CEO was buying his own stock on margin, and when it started to go down, he got margin called and totally wipped out. He was forced to sell tens of millions of shares |
