| The Obama kids will attend a private school in DC.
Obamas choose private Sidwell Friends School - Yahoo! News
good for them. Sidwell Friends is by all accounts an excellent institution.
although I have to wonder how well this will sit with all the members of the NEA and AFT who supported and voted for Obama.

| Even I can't find fault with the Obama's on this one. I certainly wouldn't send my daughter to a public school in DC.

So, if I remember that number correctly, they must give a break for the 2nd child because his older daughter will be in the middle school and it's tuition is higher (according to the CNN report).
I see the Obamas as a sort of private school type as well...at least in DC..but I also wonder how much the Secret Service has to play in these decisions (at least vetting a potential list). | |
