| Obama to throw weight around President-Elect Barrack Obama stated on CBS's 60 MIN. Sunday that he plans to to use his weight as president to implement an 8 team playoff in college football...how cool would that be!?

| He is crazy if he thinks he has more power than the NCAA. Playoffs will happen when they are ready and no sooner. |

| a plus 1 is the superior system and the president has zero authority over the bcs. |

| A plus 1 would be really nice. Maybe he can throw his weight around for a playoff and settle on the plus 1 idea.
Nevertheless, as long as the BCS is as profitable to the big conferences as it is now we will never see a playoff. |

He could give an executive order to the NCAA to come up with a playoff system by next year or they will have one forced upon them. There wouldn't be anything they could do, other than taking it to the courts. Now, that being said, I do not think he will focus his efforts on this issue nor do I believe he would ever do anything formally about it. It is nice to see his opinion reflects that of the majority on this issue. |

He can't make decisions for the private sector, else he could proclaim free universal healthcare, no guns of any kind, and hope and change for everyone and we'd all have to smile and take it. |

| keep that socialist away from competitive sports. Last thing we want to do is cut up the Sears trophy and sprinkle it around. |

obama could give an executive order to cut off funding to the NCAA since it received government money. |
