| CNBC says 80% of russians would have voted for obama but remember obama has no socialist tendencies. |

| Too funny. CNBC is practically communist themselves.

What very few in here will admit is how disciplined the Obama team has been since the election and how they are making one of the smoothest transitions in history.
Also, no one is mentioning the fact Obama has a strong willingness to listen...to all sides and make informed decisions from it. You know, acting Presidential. |

You know, acting Presidential. | How is he making one of the smoothest transitions in history? Can you qualify that at all? Maybe you'll be willing to wait until it's finished to put on your NYT hat and proclaim greatness.
Where has he shown this willingness to listen and make informed decisions? Which policy stand? |

| the "smoothest transition in history" is taking place because of what happened during the 2000 transition. Obama is running a well oiled machine (powered by a bunch of Clinton era retreads), but none of that would matter if George W. wasn't showing a lot of class and bending over backwards to ease the Obama's move into the White House.

I disagree with the bending over backwards part. By doing the former, he doesn't have to do the latter. I think he is simply acting as a sitting president should at this time. It also helps that both Bush and Obama have shown a willingness to have some sort of nonpartisan dialogue with one another |

Why?? I didn't read it in any newspaper or on the 'net. I just heard some comments the other day on some talk show. It was a bipartisan panel and they were talking about it. It was Gergen, Buchanon, Jon Meachum, Mary Matalin, Paul Begala and a couple of others. Now I know you are smarter than any of them, but they all made nice points and have been right there in the thick of it.
Look Droski, you can continue to be negative all you like. You are in a forum with a lot of people who share your political views...ok....but don't think for one second it EVER makes you right in any of your analysis'. Whether you want to admit it or not, Obama is doing a lot of the right things right now in this transition. Now you can either suck it up and try to at least make some sort of positive contirbution or you can continue to sound like some sort of crybaby who is looking for everything bad that might happen and nothing of the good that is happening. Your choice. It is almost like..."be a man or be a little boy" |

| The smoothest transition was Reagan/Carter.
I read an interview with Carter. He was actually surprised. "The didn't even call and ask us a single question."
