| The Demise of the Politics Forum Action. I'm not being melodramatic, but I am a bit saddened at the demise of this place. It was easily the most entertaining place on VN.
Guess we'll rekindle it in a few years when everyone has roughly 100k posts to their names and Fred Thompson is running against Barack. |

I was hoping his campaign would gain some momentum, because he is one conservative I would vote for in a heartbeat.
Tell me, BPV, being a conservative, who would you rather have representing the republican party in Washington, Fred Thompson or Sarah Palin?
Not pretending to know you, but somehow I am confident who you will choose |

I've never espoused Palin as the best the Repubs had to offer, but I do think she did something for McCain that he couldn't do himself - generate buzz. She did it and the economy crushed everything she added. Her inexperience finished the job, no question about it. |

| BPV the demise of this forum does not compare to the demise of the football team.
