I won't be surprised to learn after all is said and done that he was really sick during all of this. What else could explain such a miserable campaign? |

What he tried to do with Hannity was a reach, to put it mildly.

The Obama/Ayers connection is at least a little odd. It goes a little beyond guilt by association. They were closer than that. |

How exactly has this tactic helped McCain so far? |

He didn't do anything to help Obama with that argument...all he did was fail at making Hannity look bad. |

| Whether it totally makes sense or not based on the issues...Obama won this debate...he did it on the economy...and the first 3/4 of the debate or so.
McCain got his feet under him on Georgia and took it over from there - which saved him from a blow out in minds of most independents, IMO. However, I think the damage was done...we'll see how the polling works out.... |

| My favorite moment of the debate came when McCain referred to Obama as "That One." Is that some sort of cutesy nickname for his friend and colleague, or does John McCain absolutely hate Barack Obama? YouTube - McCain Calls Obama "That One" |

Undecides obviously don't care because they are still undecided with a month left.
It is silly to say Obama subscribes to the views this guy had 40 years ago, or endorses what he did. It is, in fact, a stretch. A hail mary. |
