Way too early to determine what kind of bounce he'll get. It's usuall a minimum of a week before we know.

For the final bump you are right. But usually they have a bump during the convention and especially after the main speech.

Have you considered joining the He-man Woman Hater's Club? (a little Rascals reference for those old enough to remember)

I heard 615 was even contemplating how it would help McCain if Palin posed for Playboy. He just can't stop objectifying women. I don't know what his problem is.
I like it better when you are going after Bama and Gator fans. It sucks when I'm the subject but I guess I did it to myself today.

Man, why do you always have to bring gender into the discussion? I just wish the dems were gender blind sometimes man. I mean Hillary never stood a chance. It took a progressive party like the repubs to get a woman in office... because we are gender blind.

Now I know how TennNC feels. It's tough being the main target. Oh well, lets have it.

And that is the whole point behind McCain choosing Palin. He's going to ride the Hillary wave of womens power and smash Obama constantly on being anti-feminist instead of trying to win this campaign on his own merits.

At least he picked someone who counteracts his weaknesses, not someone he can use as a political joke.

just how does a political figurehead, which the VP no doubt is, counteract anything?

Obamasiah and Biden are both very liberal senators. the only differences in the 2 is that Biden is from another state and (here is the change Obamasiah speaks of) he has been in the Senate for nearly 40 years.

In McCains case, his weakness is the economy and his age. Even I want a strong leader backing him up since the odds are greater than average he might not make it through his term. Palin was a bad choice for his economic deficiencies and the age issue. She doesnt offset anything, and for a VP pick I believe this time around it matters a lot more than usual to Americans.
