Today, McCain won the election, IMO.

(I gave $$ to his campaign, naming Sarah Palin in the referral box)

She laid the "woman power" stuff on pretty thick...made sure to mention the great strides that Hillary Clinton has made for women in politics....Hillary supporters will like that.

I like the little digs she took at hope and change.

This lets McCain get his "maverick" label without P.O.ing the conservatives too much.

it is funny that she mentioned to big libs, both who failed to win.

it was republicans who nominated the 1st black supreme court justic, 1st black secretary of state, 1st black woman secretary of state and now the first woman to become vice pres will be a republican.

what are the options for the conservatives? sit idly by and watch Obama be elected to make a point? that's just stupid.

They had their conservative crowd in office and made the movement look like bumbling idiots. This is the first step toward a fix. Shut up, get on board and move forward.

The reason he's doing better in the polls is because he's talked about his conservative stances and kept his mouth shut about immigration. He can't and won't win without them. I think most conservatives will like this choice, however.

He leaves immigration and abortion alone and I think he'll be fine with the rest.

Yep, let's just hope he sticks with it. Point out that he wants to drill, appoint Surpreme Court nominees who actually read the Constitution, and wants a string defense and he'll be ok.
