What would be really refreshing is a viable candidate who was conservative fiscally, while a little more liberal on social issues. Hell if they promised to shrink government by 15% I'd be happy.
I'd be happy if just one of them came up with a viable energy independence goal.

One thing I will admit too, you are funny.

I think Politics is just insane. Both parties are guilty of it, they solve nothing just argue, and spend money. That's why I say these are a less of 2 evils race, I think we lose in different ways after november with either.

I agree. My main problem with Obama is not entirely his fault. Here we go. When Pelosi came into power she made a big spectacle about using her role to get away from partisan politics, but here we are waiting for them to address energy and she shut it down and refused to let the vote happen. Very partisan move on her behalf, especially when she knows many in her party would sign on for responsible drilling.

Now as I said that is not Obama's problem but couple her with Obama and I'm afraid we could be raked over the coals.

Yeah you would think McCain would focus on her and not plaster Obama's mug all over the TV.

It would be sound campaign advice to point this out to voters especially given the circumstances.

Source please? You say its from a Chicago paper, but was it a columnist or an editorial or what? Given your prior penchant for quoting people who re-cast what Obama says in order to attack that made-up version, I would like to know who wrote this.

And what do you mean "this guy better watch his bacl"?

1) Source McCain, not Obama, was right about Georgia :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Steve Huntley Steve Huntley, a columnist for the Chicago Sun Times.
2) I have no idea what "penchant" you speak of. Perhaps you care to supply some sources yourself?
3) He is from Chicago, this attacking Obama may require him to "watch his bacl" or as I prefer to call it "his back".

I could lie and say I wrote it that way for humor, but I won't.
