| The irony is that the National Enquirer, which has made a gazillion dollars printing stories that are so outrageous that their fakeness is what sells them, is now standing around stomping its feet that nobody believes them this one time, when they have a real honest-to-goodness news scoop. |

By the way, I really dislike Edwards. Don't trust him and I think he's superficially rooting for the lower classes, from whom he has certainly distanced himself in his non-political life. In the early days of the primaries, I was really going nuts that he might win the nomination.
Interesting thing was that the local plaintiffs' lawyers were all sending him gobs of money and one or two of the big wigs around here hosted parties for him for $-purposes. Pretty apparent what their agenda is/was. |

Ted Kennedy has been the champion free money guy forever and he wouldn't remotely consider spending his time with the lower class (without cameras). |

I'm not going to disagree with you on this one, BPV, at least as regards the politicians. Edwards, though, his hipocrisy was just so pointed. He's publicly bemoaning society's disregard of the poor while he privately gets $400 haircuts. That killed his candidacy, IMO. |

Seems this is their bread and butter
