there will be measurable benefits in the long run from Iraq. Giving away money to those beating our entitlements system results only in a larger number of entitlement grabbers for the future. See FDR to current for proof.

I'm curious as to what these "benefits" might be. I'm also wondering if they will be worth the price we've paid; the price our soldiers have paid.

Are we reaping any long term benefits from Vietnam today?

So these big corporations tied to oil are going to take a beating in their profits for being tied up in Iraq, correct? So in essence, we'll all owe a thanks to Bush for getting these corporations into this quagmire!

The thing that bothers me about Obama is how naive he seems when not reading from his prepared remarks. He seems like he has no idea what he is getting into.

I won't vote for him, but as for McCain, I'm having a hard time trying to stomach voting for him, too. I keep trying to talk myself into voting for John McCain and he keeps trying to talk me out of it.

I don't think we have a really good choice in either camp.....but I'm really scared about the talking suit who has no real points....I'll go with less evil, McCain....

For the 1000th time, if you vote for the lesser of 2 evils, you are still voting for evil.

But if you don't vote at all, you cannot complain when the cadidate inevitably screws up. It's a catch 22.

Obama '08
are you serious. you've got to be kidding. he's going tax ever business, no matter how small or large. you really should wake up and smell what he's shovelling.
