I am pretty sure my blog would not stay up on their site very long. But seriously emain, with Obama's statements on religion, sexuality and the Bible in particular I don't think it would be a stretch to say these two share beliefs. Not to say that Obama thinks these publishers should be forced to edit the Bible (At least I hope not).

That's exactly why I'm voting for McCain. Can you believe the nerve of Obama to allow these people to blog for him?

I'm going to start a thread about not voting for McCain. He must be a womanizer because his wife, although old, is much better looking than him so he must be the type to go out and pick up women. Must be.

Funny, I was asking myself the same thing when I read your opportunity to link Obama to someone blogging for him. It's an obvious non story trying to sway opinion that Obama hates the bible. So I decided to make up an equally ridiculous illustration on McCain. It looks more ridiculous when it's the guy you support, huh? Should all of our views and opinions be linked to either Freak or the University Of Tennessee if we post on Vol Nation? What's the difference?

The difference in the way we went about about it was that I used Obama's past statements about his beliefs on what was written in the Bible and their meaning to come to my conclusion. You on the other hand just typed drivel and tried to compare the two. You should read the last line of my post again if, it clearly states that I do not believe Obama is for censorship of the Bible.

Than what is this thread really all about, some blogger that none of us know anything about? Someone that is not in the public eye. Who is this guy and if you don't believe Obama is for censorship of the Bible than why is this relevant? What are Obama's beliefs on what was written in the Bible? Yes, I typed "drivel" but that's what I thought about this thread.

Obama is of the ilk that think certain passages in the Bible should be an inspiration to gay people, while others that specifically address it should be considered "obscure" or not as important. Just pointing out that Obama holds these views so they are not conflicting with this obscure publicity stunt. Just found it interesting that this guy would be an Obama blogger, or the type of person who would be inspired by his campaign in light of his previous statements on scriptures.

If Obama had not had so many of this type of incidents this would be a non issue (probably is anyway). For such a newcomer to have so many incidents surrounding his campaign it can't be a good sign IMO. Is this the type of stuff we can look forward to for the next four years? Especially after all we have endured during Bush's tenure?
