the alternatives are absolutely atrocious is how.

Frankly, this whole controversy is about to tell the nut job professors, high minded liberal elite types and the NYT how out of touch with even Democrats they are.

Just watched him. All I have ever seen of Obama is choreographed versions at pep rallies. He looked really uncomfortable in the interview. Would never have suppported him anyway but if I had been the only answer I would like to have seen here is that he officially left that church.

He would have been viewed as an Uncle Tom that sold out/capitulated under pressure from the racist white media.

Well so be it. There is no way I would remain a member of my church if my pastor went on like this guy did. And note this, people don't accidentally spout off like this because he had a bad day. Those views are strong and long held by that guy.

In other news, Howard Dean just decided to become a heroin user until the day after the Democratic Convention.

I though Major Garrett did a good job, of pressing him with his questions.

Especially after Obama said he had heard of several of the remarks, before he started his campaign.

Alan Colmes then tried to equivocate by comparing Wright to that Parsley guy that McCain claims as spiritual adviser.

Colmes is a smart guy, and even he should know the difference between Wright and Parsley.

Now, if McCain had been a congregate at Westboro Baptist Church, then Colmes could make a point.

Over on CNN, Anderson Cooper acted as if he was completely ashamed to be covering the story.

Cooper is like Keith Olbermann, only with tact and a modicum of intelligence.

Anyone who considers Anderson Cooper as a true source of honest opinions, is, well, uninformed. Naturally, Barack went on with Sean and Alan, rather than go on the O'Reilly Factor. Which, may i add, was one of the more balanced shows overall, based on a (i believe Univ. of Maine) Study. The only reason it seems so right wing is the huge left slant taken by Ted Turner and the Socialists running the major networks.

Brian Williams (who i admire for his frankness and his real worldness) and Dumby Couric are right wing by CNN commentary standards, anyone who goes to CNN for opinion, rather than simple news, would have been jailed by Joe McCarthy

I'm not sure if you caught the sarcasm in my statement, but oh well.
