This is so old by now. Who cares? Trump is president and will be until the end of his term. The economy is the best it has ever been and people still want to complain. Shew, them pesky people wanting there handouts just won’t go away.

This is a Facebook issue.

I deleted my account years ago. Surely nobody is really shocked that Facebook allows for invasive use of people’s data?

I know a guy who works for a business that uses a lot Facebook data. He said as soon as he took the job and saw what all they’re able to get from Facebook and how it’s used he deleted his account immediately and encouraged me to do the same

I've stayed away from all social media. Honestly, I don't even like that Google tracks my browsing history.

Me too. I tried to quit all google products but there are a couple I couldn’t find good replacements for.

By what metrics? If it's so great, why does Trump keep trying to centrally plan big changes?

As the controversy over Cambridge Analytics’ alleged misuse of Facebook data grows, other groups’ use of the social network have also been thrust into the spotlight, including President Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential election campaign.

On Twitter, Carol Davidsen, the former director of integration and media analytics at Obama for America, explained how the 2012 campaign harnessed Facebook’s Application Programming Interface (API) to access the company’s "social graph” that maps users’ connections. This enabled the campaign to access information on users’ friends when they used the Facebook log-in button to access the campaign’s website, according to the Washington Post.

“Facebook was surprised we were able to suck out the whole social graph, but they didn’t stop us once they realized that was what we were doing,” Davidsen tweeted.

“They came to office in the days following election recruiting & were very candid that they allowed us to do things they wouldn’t have allowed someone else to do because they were on our side,” she added, in a subsequent tweet.

The data expert, who worked on the campaign from November 2011 to November 2012, added that she felt uncomfortable about the project. “I worked on all of the data integration projects at OFA. This was the only one that felt creepy, even though we played by the rules, and didn’t do anything I felt was ugly, with the data,” she tweeted.

Really? Me thinks you might want to take an economics class or two.

Typical proud Trump supporter doesn't know the difference between their and there. Oh well, the dumbing down of America continues.......

Getting rid of Facebook right after college continues to be one of the best decisions I've ever made.
