I think that Trump's decision to nominate Jeff Sessions for Atty General is by far the worst decision of his presidency.

1) With another choice, there would have been no recusal from the Russia investigation by the Atty General, therefore no special prosecutor.

2) With another choice, Jeff Sessions would have stayed in the Senate in Alabama, and there would be no Roy Moore problem. The election is to fill his seat. If Republicans lose this seat, Trump's chances of getting through any new possible Supreme Court Justices would be in jeopardy. The chance of meaningful tax reform will also be much harder.

3) With another appointee, there may have been investigations into Clinton/Obama administration people, instead of Trump.

This has been Trump's biggest mistake to date. The only way that it could have been avoided was that if Sessions had known he would be compromised. You would think that spending that many years in politics, that he would know that the Dems would be playing hardball.

I agree, but at the time I thought he was a great choice based on his past political stances. Turns out he may be nothing more than a gutless cackling hen.

1. Unlikely. Any ethical AG would recuse.

2. True.

3. Unlikely unless you were hoping, again, for a less ethical AG. See Sessions comments from recent testimony.

IMO Trumps worst decision was propagating the species.

1) An Atty General who was not involved in the Trump campaign would have no reason to recuse.

3) I said (MAY) have been investigations into the Clintons instead of Trump.

Trump's worst decision was running for president. A very bad decision for this country.

Put your big boy pants on like a real man & stop your crying like a little 5 yo girl & learn to live with it. It's not changing a thing w/you constantly crying your salty tears everyday.

Sessions might be having fun too with Trump now

Yep. The country has been on a downward spiral since! Economy collapsed. Stark Market crashed. Unemployment skyrocketed. Everything is awful!

Armchair is as far from a real man as Hillary is from being President ever.

LOL...so it's ok that he is an ass clown? You proud of his crassness? Or maybe you're just proud of how he insults anyone who might criticize him? Or that he has a pathology for lying about himself in an effort to seem better than everyone? Or maybe you're proud of the tweeting? Or that he said he knows more than our military brass?

Get out of your simpleton, yahoo circus and you might find a clue

Sure it's ok as long as the economy continues to improve, we get some meaningful tax reform, no new wars and regulations choking business are repealed. You know the important stuff.

The behavior of the POTUS is plenty important.

The list is extremely long of conservatives that think he's an ass clown and unfit to be POTUS.

It takes a special kind of stupid to care as to who he might be pizzing off while acting like a petulant child. Real patriots care, but I knew a long time ago you knew nothing about real patriotism.

Trump's worst two hires were 1) Paul Manafort as Campaign Manager (and as much as his administration wants to point out how short Manafort's stint was; it was during the Republican National Convention, so you really can't downplay his significance to the Trump campaign) and perhaps most importantly 2) Michael Flynn as National Security Adviser. He had plenty of red flags regarding both of those men. Without those two hires, there would be no Russian collusion investigation for an Attorney General to recuse from.

This is an example of tribalism. This isn't patriotism at all. It's placing what makes one group or party satisfied above the best interest of the country as a whole. That is what Trump thrives at doing: Emphasizing division.

It’s not surprising how blind you are.
