Still think he lied? Anyone?

Lied might be strong but Trump didn't know what he was talking about either. That the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court authorized two separate wiretaps on Paul Manafort - one in 2014 tied to Manafort's work in Ukraine and a second focused on Russian involvement in the 2016 election that extended into early 2017 - does not confirm Trump's claim that Obama had his phones 'tapped' at Trump Tower. While Manafort does have a residence at Trump Tower, it's not clear that any surveillance took place there. The FBI's predawn raid took place at Manafort's residence in Alexandria, Virginia after all... but still, The Justice Department's tapping of Manafort's phone, even if it was at Trump Tower is not the same thing as Obama ordering Trump's "wires tapped". The biggest problem with Trump's tweets from March 4th is that he clearly did not understand how a FISA warrant is obtained nor did he seem to understand that Manafort had been under investigation by the FBI for some time. Both of those things are ignorance and completely his fault.

It became the new normal in 1993.

Don't try to link others with this sinister, moronic scumbag. Politicians lie, but presidents and president-elects are very careful about what they say, as they should be of course as they are the leader of the country and thus are expected to set a high moral example. We don't always get high moral standards---yea, Clinton got a blow job, but that was personal. George Bush and his goonish vice president lied--blatantly lied--to start a war. Donald Trump lies about everything--the man is a dishonest creep. He lied about Russians hacking our election--took Putin's side and not America's side. You conservative Southerners ought to ponder that for a bit.

He lied--blatantly--about illegal voting in the election, to sooth his own ego, because he badly lost the popular vote. Do you realize the danger of a president lying about illegal voting? It (fraudulently) damages the integrity of our democracy. That's kind of a big deal. What do you think Russia is trying to do: It is trying to damage the credibility of our democracy--that's Putin's strategy. It is impossible to overstate the gravity of a president who willing damages the credibility of our election system--thereby doing what our enemy, Russia, aims to do. Think about that for a few moments.

And of course Trump lies about just about everything. He's just interested in power and, being a racist, overturning everything Obama did. The man is an enormous creep and danger to this country.

High moral standards:

Nixon taking us off the gold standard as a "temporary" measure.

Iran/Contra

Bill, Monica, cigars, stains and lies.

Bush II and the Patriot Act

Obama... enough said.

Hillary... enough said...

They are all moral catastrophes by definition, else they wouldn't survive the political game to become (or run for) president. Our political process is so soiled that it weeds out good people by definition.

"...set high moral examples..." lol

Did you miss the voter fraud uncovered recently? I believe it's New Hampshire maybe (a north eastern state for sure).
