Tends to happen at all the summits, but Germany still has some pretty big problems right now that aren't being reported.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...races-major-pre-G20-protest-leaders-land.html

  • 'Welcome to hell': G20 protesters start fires after riot police hit them with water cannons and pepper sprays in clashes ahead of Hamburg summit
  • Around 100,000 protesters from across Europe are pouring into Hamburg ahead of G20 summit tomorrow
  • German police in armoured vans sprayed some of the hardcore anti-capitalists with water and pepper spray
  • They feared as many as 8,000 were ready to commit violence at the protest dubbed 'Welcome To Hell'
  • Police are also investigating whether an overnight fire at a Porsche dealership was linked to the summit
  • Host Chancellor Angela Merkel faces a tough task on navigating talks including trade and climate change

Of course, some Americans are taking place as well

Mayor Bill de Blasio is jetting off to Germany on Thursday to protest President Trump and other world leaders attending the G20 Summit meeting.

The day after a cop was assassinated in The Bronx, de Blasio skipped an afternoon swearing-in ceremony for 524 new NYPD recruits ahead of his flight overseas.

A last-minute advisory from City Hall said Hizzoner “will attend several events surrounding the G20 Summit, including Saturday’s Hamburg Zeigt Haltung rally.”

The mayor also made sure the free trip will include a visit with his son, Dante, a Yale University student who’s spending the summer on an internship in Berlin, a City Hall spokesman said.

I know these things always attract radicals but you knew this year with Trump & Putin it would be worse. Plus I think a better city could have been selected, apparently Hamburg is a hotbed of German radical leftists. Saw some numbers over 100+ officers injured in just the first "real" day of the summit. Also they wouldn't let the First Lady leave her hotel. It's bad right now just seeing the pictures this morning but if German security forces don't get a handle on this it could get a lot worse.

With Merkel leading the way, is anyone shocked?

Deblasio should just stay there

The Five's Greg Gutfeld ripped NYC mayor pretty good last night. Saying how despicable DiBlasio is as a mayor and for leaving his city and flying to Germany to join up with the anarchists.

BiBlasio should be kicked to the gutter for his behavior as mayor of NYC.

Cops being shot doesn't bother him or anyone on the left, going to resist is much more important to them. They are all scum

When DiBlasio returns to NYC and sets foot on the ground in that city the good citizens should rise up to fire his despicable deplorable ass & put him on the next train out of town for good.

Problem is, majority of those that live there are probably cheering DiBlasio as we speak.

Some cities are so far gone, they don't mind their mayor feeling this way. I would imagine his approval rating is high and will on go up from this stunt

leader in the west these days. Smart, sensible, forward-thinking--all the opposite of Trump, of course. Or maybe she's in her hotel room spewing out nasty, nonsense tweets like our "leader."

He was just voted into the position. Stop making silly statements--you know nothing about him or NYC.
