What's in the Senate health care bill?

Is it 2,000 pages?

Written by insurance companies?

Most importantly does it reduce spending for government and improve liberty for citizens? Not a chance in Helsinki.

What a novel concept to get input from the industry that told you it was going to implode from the beginning.

Actually the insurance company lobbyists wrote the biggest portion of the ACA, they were huge proponents of the individual mandate and the corporate rules. Then Obama ****ed them by delaying implementation of several mandates and then of course the low participation.

It's crap. The implementation was crap.

It only serves as a bridge to socialized health care. But LG and every other socialist wants to compare which turd has a better aroma.

LG finds a magic lamp. Rubs it, and out pops a genie. Genie grants him 3 wishes. "For my first wish, I want to be twice as wealthy." Poof! He was turned into a millionaire. "For my second wish, I want to be twice as handsome." Poof! He became Brad Pitt. "For my final wish", LG says, "I want to be twice as intelligent." Poof! He became GrandVol.

Single payor was always inevitable. Either side claiming it could provide better care to more people for less money is lying. Yet people still cling to the notion they'll see their premiums drop.

Look at it this way. In the next ten years we will likely see the end of malls, generally, JC Penney and Sears for sure, possibly the US mail (well, maybe just cut down to three days a week), Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna.

Interesting times.

Single payor was pushed for 5 decades. It wasn't inevitable. It was the socialist dream that could not be killed. Shame.

The best he could have done even if the ACA had been implemented better than by the incompetents that did do, is to delay the inevitable for maybe 5 or 6 years.

I disagree. It's so obviously superior to the hodge podge approach we've had for so long that the next guys that get up and explain why it doesn't mean 6 month waiting lists to get a flu shot win by a country mile.
