When: July 18th-21st
Where: Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland OH

Police are expecting 50,000 out of city visitors next week and daily protests. Cleveland Police were awarded a $50 million dollar grant which they used $20 million to buy riot gear and other security equipment, $30 million for personnel costs, and also took out a $50 million dollar insurance policy to cover any protest damages. Now you add in radical leftist protesters, BLM groups just a few weeks after 2 high-profile killings, Mexican activists, Bikers for Trump, and a group of Neo-Nazis going to "Protect Trump Supporters" you have a situation that could boil over into 1968 Chicago. Not to mention Cleveland failed to recruit enough out of state LEOs to help secure the convention. At the start they wanted 4,000 to 5,000 overs but have gotten around 2,700 plus their own 1,300-1,400 (of which they said 1/3 would be assigned convention details) force. I just don't see how they will be able to get through next week without any sort of major violence occurring.

I am also sure that the scenes that will come out of Cleveland will also boost Trump's polling number as well. So what is everyone expecting for the next four days?

Mayhem. Sweet, delicious mayhem. I find it ironic democrats preach how dangerous Trump is and their response to that is to do violence on his supporters and events. So who's the dangerous one again?

How many protestors will there be? Also I'm guessing 100% chance of violence by protestors at the RNC

The real protest will be inside the convention hall with the dump trump faction will force it's agenda. The nazis recognize other nazi when they see one. Three ring circus begins Monday.

Not sure but I really hope law enforcement will be able to keep the pro-Trump and Anti-Trump groups away from each other. If they manage to get near each other that is what could kick it off as we have seen at earlier Trump events.

When you freely throw the word Nazi or Fascist around it does a disservice to the men who fought to defeat Nazism and Fascism.

The people who do these protests are idiots. Go out and get a job, if you got time to go to Cleveland to do this **** then you're a waste to society. All they're doing is looking like a fool

It's right out of the left's playbook. They've been calling Repubs nazis since Bush W. No news there.

"The name Nazi is a contraction of the full party name, National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei; NSDAP). Nazism, in short, is simply one of several varieties of socialism."

It's gonna be a freakin' three-ring circus with a HUGE helping of freak show outside.

I'll bet the left has had their talking points made up for months and have shared them with the media to ensure a GRAND dose of fear mongering.

Try this. Go to each MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC during news cast next week. I can almost guarantee each of them will recite the same story, almost verbatim, at nearly the same time of each of their broadcast.

The only positive discussion will be how well dressed someone's wife is, and then that will turn into a negative discussion.

DT has been labeled so by the media both right {with the exception of faux news of course}and left. Any of the neo-nazis serve our country. :dunno:

inb4 the switching of political ideologies and liberals have made socialism friendly for everyone (but conservative voters). But its Democratic Socialism, so its different.

I've got a sneaking suspicion that there will be more violence and damage done in Philly than Cleveland, news will not report it as dramatically but more will die in Philly.

Man I do not condone violance unless it's a last option. These people are ridiculous.

On a different note, Tebow is going to speak at the RNC. Wonder if Kenny Chesney will be there to support him

I have this feeling Tebow might have political aspirations one day.

I agree. He could probably run for governor in Flordia and win right now. He's a good person even if he's a gator, he needs to use his power and popularity for good (like he has been)
