Migration Nightmares Hitting Europe

The Unites States and Europe are overwhelmed with aliens. It will go on and on and on and on............

Persons in the United States and Europe like to think they are overwhelmed with aliens.

Hungarians think there is a problem if more persons who are not born in Hungary are living in the land enclosed by the imaginary lines called the border of Hungary. The land doesn't ****ing care, and there is enough of it to accommodate (I just learned this past week that we can erect structures that are basically vertical stacks with different things they call floors...these structures are apparently called buildings).

Xenophobia is a hell of a drug.

Keep em out. Good on Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria.

Pack 'em like sardines onto trains, lead them to believe they are being taken to somewhere desirable, and drive them to camps where they will be concentrated. Yeah, yeah, concentration camps, that's the ticket.

Or, of course, you could allow them to come in, either spend their money to rent flats or, lacking the money, set up their own living camps in public spaces, find jobs or create jobs that cater to this new influx of immigrants, and, ultimately, allow them to build new lives.

But, of course, that would be unsightly, and Hungarians would have to deal with darker skinned folks who speak a separate language, prepare different food, have different culture, etc. And, of course, we can't suffer to have our great western culture threatened.

because mass numbers of refugees are always or a majority of the time a positive gain for the local economy? most countries set limits on the number of refugees they take. one would think this number is established by the people over there running the numbers and figuring how much they can support without them becoming a drain. I would reckon the folks in Hungary and elsewhere have a better handle on the situation than you.

UNHCR - Hungary

couldnt find number of refugees Hungary is expecting but Germany is expecting 800,000. thats not a drop in the ocean. especially if one considers the same number, if not more, going into Hungary

Lol what money?

And yes my western culture IS great and is threatened. Turn muslims away like Charles Martel did, with extreme prejudice.

The economic impact is of, at best, secondary importance.

For too many, it is the only thing that matters.

I wish that were case. For many, they shroud their fascist bigotry in shoddy econometrics.

Learned economists from Mises, Hayek, and Friedman to Keynes, Krugman, and Piketty are in complete agreement on the incredible economic boon that is unrestricted migration.

How many are staying at your house?

In their analysis of unrestricted migration did they take into account terrorism, smuggling and the other dangers that come with letting anyone cross your boarder?

This is true. Those two groups agree on very little except this.

Is a person a bigot if they hate illegals of there own race/creed/ethnicity/sexual orientation?

one who regards or treats the members of a group with hatred and intolerance

Just because they may have overlap with your demographic, doesn't mean it's not bigotry. They fit into a group you are intolerant of, and that's the bottom line.

Thanks. 99% of people are bigots then.

Domestic terrorism is and always has been a bigger problem than outside terrorists coming in.

Smuggling is irrelevant.

Other dangers are usually connected to the default status of such migrants as illegal and thus already outside the law.

I didn't ask your opinion. Did they take any of that into account?
