The murder of Kathryn Steinle on the Embarcadero in San Francisco by an illegal alien is the most familiar example of a crime committed by an alien. But an unreleased internal report by the Texas Department of Public Safety reveals that aliens have been involved in thousands of crimes in Texas alone, including nearly 3,000 homicides.

PJ Media obtained an never-before-released copy of a Texas DPS report on human smuggling containing the numbers of crimes committed by aliens in Texas. According to the analysis conducted by the Texas Department of Public Safety, foreign aliens committed 611,234 unique crimes in Texas from 2008 to 2014, including thousands of homicides and sexual assaults.

A review of these 177,588 defendants shows that they are responsible for at least 611,234 individual criminal charges over their criminal careers, including 2,993 homicides and 7,695 sexual assaults.

Since this is obviously going to be a problem, the problem with threads like this is not that they point out statistical facts. In fact, the statistics provided are probably fairly accurate.

The problem is that a poster uses such statistics to blame an individual (Obama) that s/he clearly hates no matter what said individual does.

And this is clearly a con job on the part of the op, or at least I hope it is, otherwise, op has a lot more to worry about than illegal immigrants.

Here are some other facts that op won't mention:

1. Obama, as big of a dictator (and despite being the only dictator and communist, fascist Muslim we've had in our history) does not necessarily set border security and immigration policy alone.

2. Studies show that illegal immigration is actually trending down since Obama's policy. Now, this probably doesn't have much to do with Obama or Congress's actions; rather, it probably has more to do with Mexico trending towards viability, despite its cartel problem.

I read an excellent study of US foreign policy issues recently, and one of the main arguments made there is that, instead of being worried about what happens half a globe away in places like Iraq, the US ought to be more concerned with making Mexico a viable state instead of the complete craphole it's been since, well, pretty much always (but especially since the "War on Drugs").

Make Mexico viable (because it's only viable with US cooperation - otherwise, it's a failed state), and you'll solve that illegal immigrant problem.

Keep treating Mexico like it's some sort of problem that only exists north of the border, and you'll keep getting headaches from it.

Unless I missed something in the OP's post, there was zero reference to Obama. Wouldn't that make your post more of a "con job" than the OP's?
