I think he actually believes what he says. Guys like Beck are are just simple con men but I honestly believes Jones lives in a different world than the rest of us. He is mentally disturbed but give him credit for being a savvy business man.

There is a certain segment of the population, particularly on the far right, that is convinced we are at any point just hours away from some kind of wacky take over. WACO, Jade Helm, Bundy stand off in Nevada, etc.
