The minor firestorm over Cruz' joke about Biden is just dumb. He apologized for it being in bad taste given the timing, and that's good of him to have done. But come on, he's just giving the usual speech. So not news. Not relevant to anything.

If its going to be like this for the next 18 months I may use parental controls to block everything but TBS and the porn channels.

I'm as against pointless outrage over dumb shizz from the left as I am from the right. Cruz' timing was bad that's all. He meant nothing by it. We're going to see a ton of mistakes and gaffes like that. I'm tired of it.

I don't like Cruz for other reasons, but crap like this make me roll my eyes at the media. Left or right.

I watched an interview Katie Couric had with Bernie Sanders a couple of days ago. Every question she asked was, in one way or another, framed so that he would either attack Hillary or attack a GOP candidate. He did a good job of avoiding it - but it just shows that "gotcha" politics sells and that's all the major news channels want to cover.

Bad timing, lack of situational awareness by Cruz. I don't see him coming close to winning the nomination anyway. But the media's obsession with GOP hopeful slip ups as if it's relevant shows why today's media is a side show devoid of real news and certainly any objectivity. Yes, let's avoid reporting and investigating IRS intrusions, blatant lying and corruption by a former Sec. Of State/Senator/Dem Pres hopeful and the disaster that has been the last six years on Penn. Ave.

Another public figure who doesn't know when to stfu. I literally can't stand a single person running for President on either side. Now I get why common sense is an oxymoron..

LG hates Cruz any shape or form because Cruz is of the TP. Cruz could let out a fart & LG would have something critical & bad to say about Cruz. It doesn't matter from what news outlet it comes from. Sorry, but that's the way I see it.

I'm sorry you feel that way. You are correct I do not like him and really dislike his politics, but I don't recall criticizing him for something as superficial as this.
