Of all the states east of the Mississippi river, my money is on New Hampshire to be first.

Yeah drug abuse is bad in Alaska and getting worse. I guess they're letting some of the little stuff slide. Of course it still can't be sold in any fashion so that's good. Lol

TN will be one of the last states to ever legalize it I'm afraid. You know how Southern states are about stuff like this. Florida doesn't count though.

Anyone have updates on TN bill that would legalize marijuana?

Maybe VA will legalize, if so I'm moving back. Got over 100 acres of prime growing land.

"Regulations for the sale of the drug still must be hammered out."

It's not going to be illegal to sell.

Keep 'em coming.

When I lived in KY there was a strong under current of support for legalization and even a candidate that ran for Gov. several times on the hemp platform - Gatewood Galbraith.

Problem is the people that grow and sell on the black market will fight like hell to keep it illegal. Same for bootleggers teaming with religious conservatives to keep counties dry.

I never understood being a dry county. It simply seems like a good way to lose revenue to the surrounding areas.

Like I said - the people who sold illegally and the people against drinking fought harder than the drinkers.

Same thing happened in Alabama to defeat the lottery. Anti-gambling people teamed with representatives from casinos in surrounding states to defeat it. Those in favor weren't as motivated as those who sought to stop it for economic or personal belief reasons.

The funny thing about this.... I was talking to a grower in Colorado and he said the going rate averages around $17/lb..... Hard to believe

market is over-saturated as it is. the AJC ran an article a while ago about dropping prices of weed because there is too much competition to maintain high prices here in Atlanta where it is still illegal.

I know jack crap about the pot business but it would have to be less stressful.

Just think...., if you're having a bad day you could just break off a bud and dip it like Skoal.....45 minutes later your day would seem much better

I got your back. My brother has extensive experience in pharmaceutical cultivation. Even has a felony degree. We can use him as consultant.
