You know how liberals like to say Republicans from "X" era would now be democrats, or Democrats from "X" era would now be Republicans. I'm through with the GOP this stuff just shows me why I should be. I'm tired of the only republicans who wind up on the National tickets are RINOs and the RINOs who run the GOP make sure that Conservatives never get a chance at high party positions or a chance to be a Presidential nominee.

I think the problem is more so with the sheep. Not the RINOs.

The sheep are too concerned with worthless issues like abortion and gay rights to give a true cons restive like Paul a chance.

Those are big issues with me and most conservatives. A split will happen in the future with the conservatives getting tired of the few crumbs that they get from the RINO GOP leadership while being given short shrift come election time. Then a Conservative 3rd Party will be created.

I'll have to agree with 8188. Gay rights and abortion don't factor shiz into running a country. I believe it should be a state issue instead of worrying about where which presidential nominee stands issues such as these

as long as "conservatives" continue to put forth big government solutions to social issues better left alone or to the states, no one is going to take them seriously
