1 woman shot at the door, the other shot while escaping

I guess the argument is that not only did he shoot one while they were running away, but the homeowner (apparently) has a moral obligation to answer the door and announce that he has a gun. I didn't realize that we were expected to always answer all knocks on our door. Oh well...
