Purchasing train tickets with cash, exiting a train before or after other passengers, or appearing calm or nervous are all examples of behavior that Amtrak employees have been told to report as “suspicious activity.”

Funny, all of my cash says, "Legal tender for all debts public and private." Can't really find anything suspicious about paying for something in federally printed tender that the government itself has declared to be legal for the payment of debts (but its value is an entirely different discussion, of course). It's only going to get worse.

Heaven forbid you pay with cash, are the last one on and the first one off.

Calm or nervous is suspicious, huh?

Amtrack Arnie: [thinking to himself]

I don't like the look of that guy. He's calm. Too calm if you ask me. Better call it in.
