Even former WH press secretary Jay Carney thinks Dems will lose the Senate.

Thoughts?

Two weeks ago I think everyone would say the GOP, but several races are tightening in some spots and Dems even pulling ahead in a few.

Iowa, for example is GOP Ernst + 2 in one poll, tied in another.

Michigan is Dem + 9

Virginia is Dem + 11

Minnesota is Dem + 18

Kentucky is the Dem + 2 (against McConnell)

NJ is Dem + 15

North Carolina is Dem + 4

Kansas is the Independent (expected to caucus with Dems) + 10

RealClearPolitics - Senate Election Polls

Obviously, get out the vote efforts will be critical.

McConnell won't lose.

Kansas is still a tossup, as is Iowa.

R's still likely to take a majority.

It is going to be close imo. Iowa may determine who controls the Senate.
The I in Kansas appears to be pulling away from Roberts.

Ya a few weeks I thought GOP would win but now I say its a toss up. I think their base may be more invigorated but remember if they win then they would need to respond quickly in order to have a case in 2016. I am very excited to see how this all plays out

Reminds me of the game last Saturday.

I have a disgusting feeling the "Gators" win again.

No one wins.

A GOP controlled Senate and House are worthless if the WH is occupied by Hillary.

Per RCP both the GOP and Dems safe in 45 seats with 10 toss-ups.
Due to Dems controlling the WH the GOP will have to win 6 of the toss-up states. My take if the election were held today.

R's winning
Alaska
Arkansas
Georgia
Kentucky
Louisiana ( Landrieu always finds a way to win, will be tough this year)

Dem's winning
North Carolina
New Hampshire
Colorado
Kansas (I) will caucus with Dems

That leaves Iowa. I think ever which party wins Iowa will control the Senate.

Dems wished Obola hadn't said this--

Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention (they come more than two thirds of the way through the speech): "I am not on the ballot this fall. Michelle’s pretty happy about that. But make no mistake: these policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them." Boil those four sentences down even further and here's what you are left with: "Make no mistake: these policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them."

Real Clear has it 52 (R); 47 (D); 1 (I).

The good news - no more Harry Reid as Senate Leader
The bad news - Mitch McConnell as Senate Leader.

Anyway you slice it, Obama is dragging down his side.
