Ok...fast forward to after the trial.

Unless he is railroaded (very possible) it appears the officer is going to be found innocent.

If this happens what is the fall-out?

On the flip side, if it appears he should be found innocent and he is found guilty and many white Americans feel he was railroaded by the Feds, then what is the fallout?

Could this lead to a race war if Holder does not handle it properly?

No.

Trayvon Martin didn't lead to one.

Rodney King didn't lead to one.

Martin Luther King, Jr didn't lead to one.

Next question.

None of these had a railroaded feeling to it that involved the feds vs a white police officer.

Just saying.

What? Pretty sure Martin had a much bigger railroading feeling than this one.

It didn't involve the fraternity of the police though.

if this officer is found guilty and the police in that area feel they have been betrayed and one of their own was railroaded all hell is going to break out.

Outside of the shooting, the local police pretty much handled this as poorly as one could.

I'd argue their hands were tied, I don't feel they were allowed to do their jobs

Exactly. When the governeror, president, & DOJ tell you to back off & let the hoods run rampant what can you do? They've already found the cop guilty while ignoring any facts. All to appease their worthless voter base.

How?

Any worse than the governor who has already said the dead kids family needs justice?

Worse than him flipping out the city police, for the highway patrol, for the National Guard, for who knows what?

The fact is this feels different--it feels like it's being used as a political movement to get more black votes for the mid terms and get the minorities riled up.

The problem is it appears to be angering a lot of white people also---which the martin case did not.

I want it to be resolved...and be resolved fairly...but this is beginning to stink.

No.

There may be civil unrest in the local (St. Louis area) like what we witnessed in Ferguson but nothing more than that. It's not going to resemble what we saw back in '92 @ LA.

This is bs. Obama has made a couple comments he isn't pulling strings.

Governor is mostly to blame. He is an idiot.

And the protesters are lame.

Seems the protestors should look in the mirror. They voted all the above in to office

Honestly speaking, if he is found innocent, there will probably be nationwide rioting by one side.

If found guilty, the other side will quietly complain behind the locked doors of their homes.

You decide which side is which.

What is the officer charged with?

Nothing officially yet but the court of public opinion has charged him with 1st degree racist murder.

I think being thought of as a racist is just as bad if not worse than being called a pedophile in the court of public opinion.
