So you trust a government agency that comes under the control of the most blatant eco-friendly Administration in history to do an unbiased report?

I snickered at that too. It's kind of like asking our current AG to investigate the IRS scandal.

The instrument is precise enough that researchers will be able to count the number of carbon dioxide molecules in the layers of the atmosphere

How?

I didn't know this was really a "debate" to begin with.

There will always be "debate" when it comes to science that threatens the establishment. That's why Copernicus waited until he was on his deathbed to publish On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Bodies for fear of being accused of heresy. Now we all just take heliocentricism for granted and anyone who believes different is a nutcase.

Imagine what another 100 years will yield.

You say "eco-friendly" like its a bad thing

When your public stance is stating your desire to kill American jobs in a particular segment without having a suitable replacement for the electrical production, yes, it's a bad thing.

and in 2 years, a big conference will be announced. It will be held in someplace nice, like Vienna, Austria. Climate scientists, politicians, and celebrities will flock to Austria aboard hundreds of jumbo jets. While in Vienna, they will consume more electricity, gasoline and food than most African nations will in a year.

The conclusion of the conference, by unanimous consent, is that the average American who drives a pickup truck and likes to hunt is the real danger to the environment. They will also agree to meet again the next year.

Is all climate science flawed .. or is it just some agencies? If not the people who have spent their lives in some of the world's best academic institutions studying how our climate works.. who should we be listening to?

Usually when an entity is discredited with such ferocity there is some sort of alternative suggested. What might this alternative be?

A gov't that wants to tax air pays grants to research scientists. As with everything, follow the money.

Regardless of the findings, no viable solution for clean energy has been found.

Until we solve this, all of the green talk is just rhetoric that ultimately costs the U.S. jobs and $$$ while China, MX and the rest of the countries we compete with continue to rake in profits from U.S. consumers.

With the need for energy being one of those things any civilization will always need, some might argue that the death of one industry would make room for the birth of another.

Most of the ways we have developed thus far of obtaining this "clean energy" would only be efficient if the whole system were installed right here in the United States (i.e. no more dealing with foreign countries for a product we could produce ourselves and distribute to ourselves)

I understand that everyone distrusts the agencies we have in place currently that conduct climate research. Does anyone here know of an alternative source of information? Who's research should we be paying attention to?
