Wow....this can't be true right? Marijuana can do no harm......maybe not

Furthermore, it is all but impossible to overdose on marijuana, yet nearly 700 people a year overdose on aspirin.

My biggest issue with the arguments against legalizing it is the hypocrisy with respect to other legal drugs.

Everything in life comes with risk. Nobody smart is denying marijuana doesn't incur any risk. The risk is not significant, especially when compared with legal substances like beer and tobacco.

Beg to differ. Most people, pretty much ALL people, can drink a beer or smoke a cig & not run the risk of swan diving off a balcony.

Do we want to compare # of accidents on weed to accidents on alcohol?

Do we want to compare tobacco's death count?

Most people high on weed don't swan dive off of balconys either. This is just one story. And drunks have done this before as well, but it's not an everyday occurence. For that matter, completely sober people have taken swan dives off of balconys as well. Perhaps the real threat is balconys. We should start a petition to outlaw balconys.

There's going to be many more deaths caused by alcohol and tobacco (over a long period of time) because many more people use them.

If you're talking per person then I would love to hear the statistics.
