There's video. Guys running at the end and then you see big smoke and debris. Camera pans, lots of smoke or dust. Everyone dazed. Runners knocked over.

It was about 3 hours after the first person finished, there were still people finishing. It was near the finish line

3 hours after the leaders crossed the finish line, so probably around the 5 hour mark, or when a large number of runners would be crossing.

edit: the clock says 4:09 in the video. Lots of people run in the 4-5 hour range.
