Looking past the rhetoric, would any of what he said be a bad thing?

Asian doesn't reverse gender the way you apparently think it does.

No but that doesn't mean any of it is right around the corner.

I'm still wondering about the plants thing too.

Well I think the real idiocy of what he is saying is assumIng we have the resources to make it happen soon. With enough resources and manpower behind it, just about anything is possible. Kennedy wanted a man on moon in less than 10 years, starting with no space program. We put the resources in place to make that happen. Today that simply isn't possible. Nothing wrong with wanting it to happen sooner rather than later though.

Pics or it didn't happen. And yes, I am a connoisseur of hot Asian chicks.

Pretty sure Joe has achieved more in his life than any other semi-functional alcoholic in the last few decades... So you have to give him props for that.

Milo, would you care to provide a list of the achievements of Rosary Joe?

I'll give him props for propping up Obmama, that's just one more reason Obama is falling on his face.

It does sound a little nutty though to suggest that just around the corner we'll have regeneration of limbs doesn't it? I'm not sure that is a matter of resources as much as it is a problem of biology.

Again, I'm having a hard time imagining crops that don't need soil, water or fertilizer. It also begs the question - if crops won't need food and water why should humans? Why worry about growing enough food to feed the world if we can engineer life to not need these things?

Can we create solar shingles? I don't see why not but even with moon program resources I'm doubtful they can be produced and sold at the same price as regular shingles within 10 years (the time frame he suggested).

So when I listen to this talk I get the feeling he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about which was the point of the OP

Simply being elected to the senate is astounding for somebody who has been receiving personalized thank you letters from distilleries across America since 1963.

Tip O'Neil, Charlie Sheen, Foster Brooks, and Eddie Van Halen come to mind as better examples
